Graduate from TS Rajendra, Started sea career from Shipping Corporation of India Ltd. and rose to manager Technical and offshore Division. Commanded Tankers including first dobule hull Tanker. After that was Principal of Fosma Maritime Institute and Research Organization in Haldia conducting Pre-sea Courses and affilated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal. Later on I became the principal of National Inland Navigation Institute of Inland Waterways Authority of India, Government of India under Ministry of Port Shipping and Waterways.
